Our team is very friendly, understanding, professional and take a lot of pride in the delivery of care to our service users.
All our staff at Regency Community Care in St Helens go through robust checks before being employed, job descriptions, personal specification, application forms, interviews, health declarations and references are all used to ensure that potential support workers are suitable for the role.
We also perform other checks against the Criminal Records Bureau and Protection of Vulnerable Adults list, so that we can have complete confidence in the ability of our staff to perform their duties safely and giving you reassurance at all times.
All support workers are required to complete induction training following recruitment. This training consists of the following
- Manual handling
- Skills for Care Induction Standards
- Through others eyes
- Medication
- Basic first aid
- Infection control
- Food hygiene
- Safe guarding adults
- Dementia training
- Catheter care
- Stoma care
- Health & safety
- Company policies & procedures
- We have Appraisal system in place
- All training is updated on a regular basic
All our support workers are fully qualified at NVQ levels
INSURANCE
The company maintains appropriate insurance cover for all activities undertaken by us in the provision of your service. This cover includes public liability, employer’s liability and professional indemnity insurance.
