Testimonials
I am writing in regards for a request for a reference for Christine Critchley at Regency Community care. As my role as a paramedic I have encountered the staff that work for Regency community care on a number of occasions and was impressed with the level of professionalism displayed by the staff encountered and the efficiency with which they work. The staff where able to provide me and my colleagues with relevant medical information concerning their clients and always had medication to hand, which aids us greatly in our treatments of the patients. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to other people due to the high standard of care provided. Kevin Crehan
Regency have provided care for my Father and Mother ( Father deceased November 2010 ) for the past 9 years. They have always given a professional and caring service in all aspects. The carers are helpful and friendly, and always ready to assist with any problems that may occur. The office and admin staff at Regency are always on hand to sort out out any problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending Regency as a Care provider. Norma Ferguson (

My mum is 86 years old and suffers with Dementia. She had become quite
isolated, depressed and insular as she did not see anyone other than the family
or anyone who might by chance call at the house. We contacted the Carers Link
and Social Services to address some of the issues that mum had with regard to
her daily care. It was decided that Mum would benefit if she attended a Day Care
Centre.
After trawling the internet and viewing various Day Care Centres and their
reports on the web, we went with trepidation to visit Regency Community Care;
unannounced I might add. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff on
duty and made to feel at home, at ease, and able to discuss Mums needs in more
detail. We were shown around the Day Care Centre and introduced to one of the
Residents who said how lovely it was. A lovely smell of home cooking was coming
from the kitchen which made it seem very homely. Both my husband and I felt that
we had made a good choice and Mum commenced Day Care week commencing 3rd May
2010, initially for three days, but this since been increased to four days a
week.
Mum was apprehensive on her first day as was I, but there really was no need to
worry. A telephone call from the Day Care centre put my mind at rest and mum was
so full of praise when she came home on that first day; she could not wait to
return the following day. Mum has made new friends with both residents and staff
and she sings their praises every day. She has a new outlook on life and cannot
wait to go every morning. She is eating more now as she sits and has a
conversation with the other residents whilst she is eating. She has a new lease
on life and does not worry about being looked after by someone else. She says in
her words “Every single one of them is great, they really look after you and
check that you are ok”
From my point of view all the member’s of staff are wonderful. There is a good
communicational link between all staff members and the family and a good record
is kept of daily activities by way of a daily report. I can go to work now in
the knowledge that my mum is receiving the best possible care. I have no
hesitation in recommending the Day Centre or PA Service to anyone who needs a
first rate team to help them in caring for there loved ones. Mrs Rita Naylor,
